Information the calculator does not collect

The tax calculators on this site run entirely in your browser. The income, expense, and filing-status figures you enter are used only to compute the results shown on your screen — they are never sent to, or stored on, any server. Closing or reloading the page clears everything you entered.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically logs standard technical information when you visit — your IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, referring page, and timestamps. This is used only for basic site operation, security, and diagnosing technical problems, and is retained according to our hosting provider's standard log retention practices.

Cookies and similar technologies

We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies for the following purposes:

• Fonts: this site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts. Loading a font from Google's servers sends your IP address and browser information to Google, in line with Google Fonts' own data-handling practices.
